App New Features: Flow Biofeedback, Live Stream & Monthly Report
At Flowtime, we are constantly looking for ways to improve your meditation practice. We have listened to your feedback, and we are excited to announce our new features:
- Biodata Live Stream
- Monthly Meditation Report (iOS only for now)
Many of you said that as beginners, you are not sure what to address when you just start. Flow is a new metric that you can aim to improve.
Flow is a state of being fully present and deeply relaxed. It involves a shift in brainwaves from beta to alpha, and potentially into theta waves for deeper relaxation. To achieve it, you need to sustain your focus while relaxing more deeply. You may experience focused attention, timelessness, and effortless action as your brainwaves shift to theta waves.
Our Biofeedback feature is a game-changer, taking your meditation experience to the next level. It's a personalized system that plays your favorite sound when you reach your desired state.
You can choose from various metrics such as Flow or Coherence State, a certain Wave Percentage, or others as your desired state for meditation. The system will then play your selected sound as feedback when you reach your goal, allowing you to stay fully focused during your meditation without frequently checking your progress visually. There are 11 metrics available to choose from and the sound could be a bird chirping, a bowl ringing, or a bell ringing, and the interval ranges from 5s to 30s to suit your preference. This feedback sound is positive reinforcement, encouraging you to continue engaging in deep meditation.
Biodata Live Stream
With Biodata Live Stream, you can easily share your real-time biodata with anyone you choose! Share it with your meditation teacher or your friends. All biodata can be viewed on a web dashboard, allowing them to give you real-time advice. Or just embed it in your live stream to give your audience a unique and personal experience.
Monthly Meditation Report
Flowtime app generates a report of your monthly meditation practice and send it to the email address you provided on the first day of each month. The report provides valuable insights into your meditation practice and overall health, helping you track your progress and make improvements. You can also request a 30-day Meditation Report at any time.
